Chai Paani
This is the guard of the park in front of Gateway of India which is not open to public. He saw me taking pictures and invited me in.
“But isn't this park closed to public?”
“Yes Sir.”
“So how will you let me in?”
“Saab Chai paani de dena. (Sir I can let you in if you give me some money)”
Bombay truly is a place where money talks. Not just this guy, anyone can be bribed. I can confidently jump a red signal or drive on wrong side because I know I can buy a cop for 50 bucks.
