Silhouette of Taj Mahal palace Hotel
The Taj Mahal Palace in Apollo Bunder, Colaba is located next to the Gateway of India. It is, in my opinion, the best hotel looking in India and I really like the architecture of this building (the old one). The original Indian architects were Sitaram Khanderao Vaidya and D N Mirza, but the English engineer W A Chambers completed the project. During World War I, the hotel was converted into a 600-bed hospital.
