Nariman Point and Marine Drive are made on reclaimed land so there is no sandy beach here. Beyond the wall hundreds of concrete tetrahedron are dumped in the sea. Tetrahedron because they are more stable than any other shape if they are to be scatered randomly like this (at least this is what Nitesh told me). Lovers use this to get some peace which is a very rare commodity in Bombay. Sometimes while sitting on these, whispering sweet nothings in each other's year, they leave beind precious artworks declaring their love.
