Afghani chap

This is an Afghani chap. We tried it for the first time at Soya Express and since then have been thinking of making this at home and the oven gave us the initiative boost required to actually get it done. I could not find the recipe of this on the net and after looking on various sites and YouTube unsuccessfully I decided to improvise. I found a recipe for Afghan Chicken and replaced the chicken with soya chaps.

For those who are not aware of what a Soya chap is, it is a fairly popular thing in India. It comes wrapped on a ice cream stick and can be cooked in many ways. It has a texture somewhat similar to chicken.

Enough of these shots I guess, this is a photoblog after all, not a cooking related website. Next week I shall return to something seen more regularly on this site.
