"Mind the boundary"

"You look stressed out, you need to relax a little" I told this guard. He replied "I have been to a lot of hostile places including the border of India and Pakistan but nowhere have I to be as watchful as I have to be here." Looking at my surprise, he continued, take a look around you, if allowed, these people will come in and start writing their names on the walls, keeping them away from the boundary of the India Gate is not an easy thing.
