No Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V?

Using the Ctrl+C for copying and Ctrl+V for pasting, we are so used to replicating content on the computers that it very difficult to imagine, Looking at the detailed patterns on a historical building like Taj Mahal, how time consuming this process must have been. It would be very hard to find someone with the kind of patience required to do this manually, without copy+paste.
