Apart from camphor and lamps, agarbattis or incense sticks are very common in India during any puja.
The incense is either masala and charcoal. Masala incenses are made by blending solid scented ingredients into a paste and then rolling that paste onto a bamboo stick. Charcoal incenses are interesting as they are "template based" blank or unscented sticks are dipped into a mixture of perfumes. The advantage is that it can automate and fasten the production process bu creating blank sticks in large quantities and then dipping them in required fragrances.
