Going to his parents

The difficult part of Ganpati festival is to explain the drowning of god to a three year old. The first time we took the Ganpati to the Powai Lake for visarjan, Manu was asking us why are we doing it. Why would we want to drown the god in a lake. SO we told him that Ganpati is going to his parents who are in water and we can't keep the Ganpati with us for ever as he would start missing his parents will feel sad.

This is the shot before the final arti before the visarjan of Ganpati in the Yamuna river this year.
