Check out the Whisky Image gallery

After compiling an image gallery for Beer, I felt it was only right to give the Whisky its due. Over a period of years I have posted a fair amoung of images of Whisky bottles so I have created an image galley for that as well. It's interesting to note that I have not bought even a single bottle in this image gallery. I got one as a gift from a friend and the rest were bottowed from other just for this purpose.

This Image Gallery is not difinitve and will keep growing. I have processed some images of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve which I will be posting in the coming days and a batch of unprocessed Ballentyne images which will also find their way on this gallery eventually. I hope you will like these images.

Best served frozen

It's said that the best way to have a Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is to put it in the freezer for 2 days and then serve it. Alcohol, of course, won't freeze but it will become thicker. This is when it is supposed to taste best and you can enhance the flavor by having a bar of dark chocolate on the side.

A bit of advice - of you plan to do this, ensure that you are going to finish the whisky soon. If you leave it for more than a month after freezing it, you run the risk of spoiling its taste. Now you won't want that to happen to a fine bottle of scotch. Would you?
