Stolen

This is a tiny flower, about two centimeters in diameter and not at all as large as it appears in this shot. The story behind this shot is the belief that plants that you buy don't grow to be as glorious as the ones you get for free, even the stolen ones. This theory of my wife has further been strengthened by the garden of one of my neighbor who is a real tight ass when it comes to paying the gardener for what he brings to the flower; however anything that comes for free is welcome. Their plants have a lot of flowers while the plants in our home are not as great (While I strongly suspect this is because of the amount of sun our plants get). Last month on our trip to Nangal we stopped on the way for lunch and the restaurant had a garden where these flowers were growing. The good thing is you don't need a sapling or seeds; you need just a stem of these plants to start a new plant. Mira got a few stems and what do you know, there is a flower galore in our garden.
