17th November 2016

I try to take pictures of Supermoon whenever I know there is one and the weather is conducive, as it was on 14th of this month. It was 356,511 kilometers away from the center of Earth, the closest occurrence since January 26, 1948. The next time we can expect this is November 25, 2034. This time around, I decided to let Manu take the pictures. He has a point and shoot camera which is good but for a shoot like this it doesn't have the necessary zoom and manual controls to get a decent picture. I told him what should be his apearture and shutter settings. I guess soon he will get a hang of it and will be able to do it without my supervision.
