I have the right to freedom of speech and the right to not to exercise the right

24th April 2009

Yesterday Hindustan Times mentioned that Harbhajan Singh has started a blog and complained that there is nothing juice in the blog. Whatever he is writing is politically correct like the praises of Anil Kumble and Shane Warne. Actually the blog is a half-assed effort with its horrendous design - put a few images of the spinner and your header is ready, the designer didn't even bothered to see if the actual content is visible without scrolling. The entires are obviously been edited, for language at least. In other words, it doesn't look like the natural expression of the man who teased Andrew Symonds or the man who slapped Sreesanth in the last tournament. This reminds me of a post by Scott Adams titled “Freedom of Speech” where he wonders if the concept of Freedom of Speech is continually getting obsolete. Once you read that you can understand perfectly well why Harbhajan is so tamed on his blog.

I also came across a blog titled A “Fake IPL Player” which seems to have caught the attention of the public, may be some one needs to point Hindustan Times in that direction.
